Give for Hope in Bismarck.
Your gift will help us transform cancer care for individuals and families through greater access to lifesaving screenings, breakthroughs in research, support services like nurse navigation, child life and survivorship programs, and so much more.
DOUBLE THE HOPE YOU GIVE
When you give today, your gift will make TWICE the impact thanks a generous matching gift from Dr. Christina Tello-Skjerseth and Brent Skjerseth. That’s twice the love and twice the support for those with cancer.

Meet Hannah
Hannah Schantz was a vibrant high school senior from Golden Valley, North Dakota, when she was diagnosed with acute T-cell lymphoblastic leukemia. Her world suddenly shifted from school events to hospital stays, treatment plans and her own fear for the road ahead. Despite the emotional and physical toll, Hannah found strength in her personal mantra: “Be strong. Be fierce. Never give up.” Throughout Hannah’s cancer journey, she also embraced the healing power of creative expression, using art as a way to escape her diagnosis.
Thanks to the Sanford Cancer Center in Bismarck and programs made possible through philanthropy, Hannah is growing stronger every day. Now, she’s sharing her story to inspire support for others who will face a cancer diagnosis.

Art That Heals & Inspires
To celebrate the health care heroes at the Sanford Cancer Center in Bismarck and to inspire support for future cancer patients, Hannah will donate her original painting, “Bucket of Memories,” to a randomly selected donor who gives to the Sanford Cancer Center between August 18 and September 30. Inspired by her own childhood memories of fishing with her brothers, Hannah created this special painting as a reminder of what it feels like to be young and carefree.
If you’re inspired by Hannah’s incredible journey and her unstoppable spirit, make a gift to the Sanford Cancer Center today. 100% of your gift will be matched to surround cancer patients with everything they need to get better, faster, close to home.
