At just 5 years old, Claire from Washburn has already overcome more challenges than most face in a lifetime. Born prematurely and later diagnosed with epilepsy, cerebral palsy and hemiplegia, she has spent years receiving specialized care and therapy through Sanford Children’s. Today, thanks to her determination and the support of her care team, Claire is seizure-free, walking, thriving and preparing to start kindergarten. As a 2026 Ambassador for Sanford Children’s in Bismarck, Claire and her family are sharing their story to raise awareness of the life-changing care she received at Sanford Children's.
At just 7 years old, Royce from Bismarck has already shown what it means to be brave, resilient and kind. Diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in 2024, he continues treatment today while inspiring everyone around him with his generous heart. As a 2026 Ambassador for Sanford Children’s in Bismarck, Royce is helping share the impact of the compassionate care and support services that make a difference for children and families facing serious illness.
